The year that I was born, my parents bought a condo in Bethany Beach, DE. I consider this to be my home. It brings me such peace. I grew up spending each summer there with my mother. About a year before my mom died, we started making big plans to redecorate. Well, those plans never came to be as her health deteriorated rapidly. As you can imagine, the condo is in dire need of a makeover. Dad started with some of the basics; new tile, stripping down the tennis ball wallpaper that Mom had custom made in 1977... blah, blah, blah. Now it needs a woman's touch. With Dad being retired and us having two kids in daycare, there is a budget- and it's not huge. Dad also doesn't want to spend a ton of money because he started renting it out. So- what does this decorista do when we need design on a dime? Home Goods, of course! I selected a few items for the living area as well as what used to be the room my sister and I shared. Great finds or what?
