The One That Got Away.

You know you have issues when you dream about furniture that you just couldn't let go of.  For one reason or another, it just wasn't meant to be.  Without further adieu, let me introduce you to my last lost love.

I first saw her at HomeGoods in Venice, Fla.  She was perfect.

Lacquer top, Linen fronts, gorgeous gold hardware

and PINK organizers in each drawer.

The detailing was impeccable.

I tried to talk my Pops into hauling it up north for our family beach house, but he refused. :(

So very sad.

  1. What a gorgeous piece!! I hate when I can't get pieces I really want from HomeGoods, I always like to think someone fabulous buys them instead of me

  2. What a fabulous piece - love the gold hardware. Don't you just hate when you have to leave something on the floor when you have the perfect place?!

  3. Ahhh, I feel your pain. I take photos of things I like but just can't make work/fit/afford/need also . . . It must be fun to be a designer and to be able to use these things, even more someone else. The dresser is stunning. I'd love it too. Funny thing is: I am actually going to be in the market for a white dresser in the new year!
