Eleven years ago today, I became engaged to this guy.

Ten years ago today I married him.

Seven years ago today, I lost this lady.

Five years ago today I found out that I was carrying this one in my belly.

A bittersweet day, indeed.

First Day of School.

 Somebody is officially a second grader today.

Lou couldn't be bothered to get our of her jammies to walk Sissy to the bus stop.

E creeped into our bed early this morning and confessed that she was really nervous.

But I know she is going to do just fine.  We are so proud of you, E-Burger!

Fashion Friday: CrewCuts Back to School.

I admit it, I am a sucker for CrewCuts.  I think my girls have more J. Crew than I do.  I just can't walk away.  The good news is that everything I buy there lasts for a few seasons so I feel good about the money spent.  Have you seen the latest catalog?  Ugh.

Back to the Grind.

I am sad to say that our Summer O'Vacays is over.  School starts next week and it's back to the grind.  We had a great time in Bethany Beach... it's probably my favorite place in the world.  I used to spend my summers there with my Mom.

 Lou was finally spent on their last day.

And then, being the devoted mother that I am, I kicked Mike and the kids out on Thursday for some shenanigans with these ladies.

We all modeled some new jewelry that will be available this fall... Stay tuned. ;)

And during this weekend, I was reminded of two things...  #1- I am not 25 anymore.. and happy about that.
